Your visit to the BALLESTAS ISLANDS begins with a scenic speedboat ride along the Pacific coast Enjoy the fresh sea breeze as you head toward one of Peru’s most vibrant marine sanctuaries. ○ Stop at the Candelabra Geoglyph, an ancient symbol carved into the desert hillside. ○ Continue to the Ballestas Islands Wildlife Area, home to penguins, sea lions, and seabirds. ○ Return to Paracas and enjoy a short break before the next stage. Your exploration of the PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE reveals dramatic desert landscapes and colorful coastal viewpoints ○ Discover how the desert meets the ocean in one of Peru’s most iconic protected areas. ○ Visit the Cathedral Viewpoint, with sweeping views of cliffs shaped by wind and waves. ○ Observe the striking red sands from the designated viewpoint, where the desert meets the ocean. ○ Relax at Yumaque Beach, a peaceful bay framed by desert hills and open ocean. Lunch stop inside the Reserve offers a relaxing coastal break before returning to Paracas town. The experience ends around 3:00 PM in a memorable coastal‑desert finale.
