4:00 AM – Departure from Cusco
The excursion begins with early hotel pick-up from accommodations located within central Cusco, followed by the journey through the Andes towards Mollepata.

6:30 AM – Breakfast in Mollepata
A traditional breakfast is served in Mollepata before the journey continues by road towards the starting point of the hike.
7:30 AM – Journey to the Trailhead
The route continues by vehicle from Mollepata towards the trailhead, passing through the surrounding high-Andean landscapes.

8:30 AM – Start of the Hike to Humantay Lake
The hike begins from the trailhead and continues for approximately two hours towards Humantay Lake, with views of Salkantay Mountain and the surrounding glacial landscape.

10:30 AM – Arrival at Humantay Lake
Upon reaching the lake, time is provided to observe its distinctive turquoise waters and the surrounding snow-capped mountain scenery, as well as for photography.
11:30 AM – Return Hike to the Trailhead
The descent begins along the same mountain route, returning towards the starting point of the hike.
1:30 PM – Arrival at the Trailhead & Departure
Upon completion of the hike, the return journey continues by road towards Mollepata.
2:10 PM – Lunch in Mollepata
Lunch is served in Mollepata before continuing the return journey to Cusco.
3:00 PM – Return Journey to Cusco
The journey continues by road from Mollepata towards Cusco.
5:00 PM – Arrival in Cusco
The excursion concludes upon arrival in Cusco.

MY ACCOMMODATION IS OUTSIDE CENTRAL CUSCO ○ For accommodations located outside the standard pick-up area, a designated meeting point can be arranged in Cusco’s historic centre. ○ Private transportation may also be arranged for an additional fee.
ABOUT BREAKFAST & LUNCH ○ Breakfast and lunch are included in the tour. Vegetarian options are available for both meals. ○ Any additional dietary requirements or restrictions can be indicated at the time of booking.
ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION DURING THE HIKE ○ The hike takes place at high altitude. For participants who prefer not to complete the route entirely on foot, horses may be available for hire from independent local providers. ○ This service is not operated or provided by PERÚ Sceneries and must be arranged directly with the local providers. Prices generally range from S/70 to S/90 (approximately USD 25–30) per person and may vary according to availability and demand. ○ Any incident or unforeseen circumstance arising from the use of these independently operated services is the responsibility of the participant and the respective local provider.
CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICIES 1.- CHANGE OF TRAVEL DATE ○ Changes to the travel date are accepted up to 24 hours before the scheduled start of the activity. 2.- CANCELLATIONS ○ Cancellations requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund. ○ Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled activity are non-refundable. ○ In cases of force majeure, including strikes, social unrest, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond the control of the company or the traveler, a refund may be considered. The refundable amount will depend on the circumstances and any costs already incurred. 3.- REFUNDS ○ Refunds for payments made by credit or debit card may take several business days to appear, depending on the issuing bank. Please note that transaction fees charged by local banks or the cardholder’s bank may be deducted from the refunded amount.
